What is AlphaKlima?
AlphaKlima (aKLIMA) is the ERC-20 Fair Launch Auction coupon for Klima DAO, a Decentralized Autonomous Organization with the goal of offsetting the environmental impact of carbon emissions and to fight against climate change through the issuance of on-chain Base Carbon Tonnes (BCT) and the creation of a marketplace for allowances to emit carbon. aKLIMA was available for purchase through the Klima DAO Fair Launch Auction and may be redeemed 1:1 for official KLIMA governance and utility token. KLIMA is a floating algorithmic reserve currency backed by carbon offsets in the Klima DAO treasury. Klima DAO guarantees one KLIMA can always be redeemed for at least one Tonne.
